Shpak’s outrageous appearance soon ceased to be discussed, but in 2010, photographs from his wedding were published online, and it turned out that over the past three years he had changed even more radically: he enlarged his lips and chest, did permanent makeup and changed his hairstyle. At the official part of the ceremony, he was dressed in a classic suit, but at the banquet again, as in the photo from 2007, he appeared in only a thong. His tattoos attracted particular attention: while in the photographs from the lake only his back was covered with them, in the wedding photographs they covered almost his entire body.
Around the same time, the St. Petersburg channel “100 TV” showed a story about the arrest of a bodybuilder suspected of distributing anabolic steroids. “For a long time, the special forces soldiers could not figure out what gender this person was. According to the passport, he is a man, but not every woman can boast of this breast size. His name is Sasha Shpak,” the correspondent said. Alexander was detained for selling anabolic steroids and sentenced to three years of suspended imprisonment.
Shpak shed light on this detention almost ten years later. In 2019, he recorded a thorough video review of what happened. According to him, at that time he worked as a trainer and sold sports nutrition, which he stored at home to save on inventory. One late Friday evening, operatives burst into his apartment and, despite the fact that he himself opened the door, broke it down with a sledgehammer and burst into the apartment shouting “Get down, bitch.”
Alexander spent the weekend in isolation, and then the court released him on his own recognizance. He faced a very real sentence - up to eight years in prison, but thanks to the help of lawyer Ilyich and friends, the “case sewn with white threads” after 27 trials ended in a suspended sentence. The case dragged on for three years.
After this, Shpak decided to sue the Rossiya TV channel: in TV reports he was called the main drug dealer in the North-West, despite the fact that he was convicted of a one-time sale of a prohibited drug, but not a narcotic drug. However, Shpak was refused to initiate a libel case.
For the third time, Shpak appeared in the media space with much more serious intentions. Since 2015, he began actively promoting himself online, creating a YouTube channel, a page on VKontakte and an Instagram profile, ultimately choosing the latter.
Now more than two million people are subscribed to Alexander’s Instagram page, and the same number are subscribed to the page of his sixth wife Irina, with whom he has been together since 2014 (the couple is affectionately called Sasha and Masya online, and they themselves prefer this option). Shpak said that he spent a lot of effort developing the YouTube channel, but in the end he was only able to gain 36 thousand subscribers, while on Instagram his profile gained 10 thousand followers in just a few days.

Alexander explains the phenomenon of his popularity not only by his unusual appearance. According to him, he and Masya started posting short 15-second videos at a time when everyone on Instagram was posting photos. “We started showing our family: how we work (Masya and I worked at that time), how we cook, how we go to the store, we began to show the most ordinary things that any family that is watching me now does,” said Alexander .

Alexander answers questions about his body modifications very frankly. He started around 2005 and during this time, by his own admission, underwent many surgeries. Alexander completely changed his face, his cheekbones, forehead, nose and lips were corrected - Shpak enlarged them three times and reduced them twelve times. He covered three-quarters of his body with tattoos: the master’s 2,200 hours of work cost a little over five million rubles. Alexander said that he removed many moles and eventually decided that a tattoo was better than scars. In addition, he did permanent eye makeup.
Shpak inserted implants into the chest and buttocks, but has already gotten rid of them, had liposuction, lifts, and filed down his teeth so that they looked like fangs (however, instead of them, he has been wearing snow-white veneers on his teeth for several years). Over the years, he tried many different hairstyles and bright hair colors: purple, turquoise, red and others, and experimented with hair extensions.
Following her husband, Masya also decided to change her appearance. She has no tattoos and most of her surgeries were cosmetic in nature. She has had lip augmentation, blepharoplasty and several other aesthetic procedures. Like her husband in the past, she inserted implants into her buttocks and breasts.
Sasha and Masya do not hide at all that they change their appearance through surgery. They are sure that the inner is much more important than the outer and that what makes people real is not their physical appearance, but their sincerity. “It is better to be who you are than to try to pretend to be someone you are not; Don't believe your eyes, everything is not what it seems. Alexander perceives appearance as a filter that helps weed out people who are unable to pay attention to the inner world.
