Rejuvenating peeling with succinic acid for the face: what is this procedure and how is it carried out?

Amber peeling has become popular among all skincare complexes for cleansing the face and neck. Amber has been valued for many centuries. This stone is a natural source of vitality, its magical particles were often used by healers and white magicians in ancient times. Using acid you can carry out a cosmetic procedure; it cleanses and regenerates. Amber frees them from poisons, adjusts them to proper functioning, launches regenerating complexes and gives life-giving forces to dying tissues.

Cosmetic properties and benefits of the procedure

A distinctive feature of this process from other cleansing cosmetic procedures is the ability to stimulate tissue at the cellular level. Conventional types of peeling affect the surface layer of the epidermis without penetrating deeply into the skin.

The structure of natural resin is made up of tiny molecules. They are able to penetrate through the sebaceous and sweat ducts and through the membrane protection of cellular tissues.

Moreover, it not only smoothes out and removes inflammatory formations and rashes, but also has a therapeutic effect on the cause of their occurrence.

Women with dry skin are recommended to use amber facial peeling once a month. With normal skin, the number of sessions is reduced to once every 14 days. Owners of oily skin need to resort to a three-time procedure within 7 days to achieve a positive result.

Interactions with succinic acid should be excluded if:

  • violations of the integrity of the skin;
  • eye and blood pressure;
  • chronic inflammatory processes;
  • acute stages of herpes, open wounds;
  • allergies.

Pregnant and lactating women are not recommended to undergo the procedure without consulting a doctor.

Features of amber peeling

It is recommended to carry out this procedure in a course. Single sessions will not bring the expected result. A significant advantage of peeling with succinic acid is that it can be used year-round. The process does not react with sunlight and has a quick recovery period.

Succinic acid interacts well with water; tablets or powder containing it can be purchased at the pharmacy. The concentration of crumbs in the preparation must be within acceptable limits: not less than 0.3% and not more than 3%.

Are there any contraindications for use?

Since we are talking about a natural remedy, the list of contraindications to its use is minimal. Obstacles to use may include:

  • Carrying a child. Pregnant women should not experiment with their skin or use bioactive preparations.
  • Pustules, wounds and inflammatory processes occurring on the face. Succinic acid can aggravate the problem, as it acts quite aggressively.
  • Allergy. Happens rarely.
  • Sensitivity to the drug. Like an allergic reaction, it is a rare occurrence.

Side effects from the effects of the described product can be expressed in an exfoliating effect. This is possible when the acid concentration is more than 3%. A suspended concentration turns the drug into an exfoliant or scrub.

Homemade peeling recipes

Preparation for amber peeling at home takes place in the same sequence as in the salon: steaming the face and the cleansing procedure itself.

  1. We get rid of makeup, remove the remnants with tonic.
  2. We steam the skin of the face using steam baths, compresses or special warming masks. Depending on the skin type, the procedure takes from 5 to 20 minutes. Using absorbent movements of a dry cloth, remove excess moisture.
  3. Apply the prepared composition in an even layer to the face. With light movements of the fingertips we stimulate the cells along the massage lines. Cleaning your face with succinic acid at home lasts no more than 10 minutes. This time is devoted to oily skin with increased activity of the sebaceous glands. For dry skin, 4-5 minutes is enough.
  4. Using circular movements, cleanse your face with a soft damp cloth or toner. To consolidate the effect, it is recommended to apply a moisturizing or nourishing mask to your face.

Peeling brossage

This method is used at any age as a deep cleansing of the skin. It is recommended to exclude this procedure during inflammatory processes on the face, pregnancy, during lactation, as well as for women with thin, dry skin.

Brossage peeling is a procedure for removing the superficial keratinized layers of the epidermis using special attachments. At home, they can be replaced with a regular toothbrush with varying degrees of hardness. As a result of exposure to succinic acid:

  • tone increases;
  • the elasticity of the skin is restored;
  • the relief and tone of the face are evened out, the pores are narrowed;
  • superficial wrinkles and age spots are removed.

The basis of the procedure is a simple composition of amber crumbs. To prepare it you need:

  • 2 tablets of succinic acid;
  • 2 tbsp. l. water.

Mix the crushed tablets with water until a semi-liquid paste forms. Apply evenly on the face with a special brush. Massage the tissues with a brush for 10 - 15 minutes.

Methods of application

Modern cosmetics manufacturers actively use the beneficial properties of succinic acid. Some even create entire lines of care products with it, designed for the skin of the face and eyelids. Often these are Asian brands, but Italian and Russian ones are also represented.

I will share with you valuable information - how to find out whether a cosmetic product contains succinate. Look for the words succinic acid or amber acid in the ingredients list.

However, in order for your skin to feel the magical effect of succinic acid, it is not at all necessary to buy an expensive branded product. You can enrich cosmetics you prepare yourself at home with this natural substance. For example, make a face mask with succinic acid.

Its benefits are as follows:

  • restoration of skin elasticity;
  • evens out facial tone, lightens age spots;
  • removing toxins, getting rid of acne;
  • neutralization of free radicals;
  • elimination of swelling.

Cream

The easiest way to use succinic acid at home is to enrich the cream you usually use with it. To do this, take one or a couple of tablets and grind them to a powder.

The next step is to dilute the “sand” in drinking water (a teaspoon will be enough) and add the resulting solution to the cream. If the consistency of your product is gel-like or liquid, simply pour the powder into it without prior dilution and stir until completely dissolved.

You need to use this cream in the same way as an ordinary one. Enrichment does not affect the frequency and duration of use of this cosmetic product.

I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the cream must be chosen according to the needs of your skin. Are you looking for rejuvenation? Buy a nutritious one with vitamins

Is your skin oily? Then your option is a moisturizer with antiseptic properties.

Tonic

Making an amber tonic is very simple. To do this, you just need to dilute a couple of pre-crushed acid tablets in filtered or boiled water (50 ml).

The finished product should be kept in the refrigerator. Since it does not contain any preservatives, it should be used as quickly as possible. I do not recommend storing or using it for more than a week. Anything that remains after the 7-day period has expired, pour it out without regret.

There is also an alternative option. I will say right away that it will cost more. No, you don’t have to buy ready-made tonic from famous brands. All you need is essential oils – several different ones. But they should be selected according to the needs of your skin.

In the classic amber tonic, the recipe for which I gave above, add 15-20 drops of ethers and 0.5 ml of 100% alcohol. In this case, alcohol is a preservative. If you do not add it, the shelf life of your product will be a maximum of a week. By the way, don’t forget that you need to store it in the refrigerator.

You need to wipe your face with this tonic twice a day. It will even out the relief and tone of the skin, and also lighten freckles and pigmentation.

Peeling

Amber peeling is considered a real resuscitation for weakened cells. It carefully cleanses them, accelerates regeneration and even slows down the aging process of the epidermis.

Another advantage of this home remedy is that it is not prohibited to use it even with rosacea. Moreover, it is directly indicated for eliminating this problem. After all, succinic acid helps improve blood circulation inside the tissues.

The procedure is carried out as follows:

  1. Grind 2 or 3 tablets to a powder.
  2. Dilute the “sand” in 2-3 full tablespoons of boiled water.
  3. Clean the skin thoroughly and steam.
  4. Apply the prepared peeling product with a cosmetic brush.
  5. Use your fingertips to massage your face for a few minutes. Then wait 10 minutes.
  6. Rinse with warm running water without additional cosmetics.

I warn you that after peeling you will feel slight tightness. Minor peeling is likely. Don't be alarmed. You can see visible results the very next day.

Peeling mask

Such masks cleanse and restore the skin, relieve inflammation and moisturize. They are especially useful for young girls to remove unwanted rashes and redness on the face. Peeling with succinic acid is used no more than twice a week.

Add two tablespoons of olive oil to three crushed amber tablets. Mix the ingredients until the consistency of thick sour cream. You can leave it on for up to half an hour, then rinse with warm water.

To clean and whiten the face with pronounced pigmentation, you can prepare compositions with cosmetic clay and rosemary oil.

Add 1.5 dessert spoons of white or blue cosmetic clay and 5 drops of rosemary essential oil to two crushed amber resin tablets. Mix everything with warm milk until thick and mushy. After 30 minutes, remove the composition with cool water.

A peeling mask with honey will help smooth out wrinkles, cleanse clogged pores, and restore an even complexion:

  • 1 tbsp. l. crushed acid tablets;
  • 3 gr. honey;
  • 2 tbsp. l. aloe vera pulp.

Mix all ingredients until smooth. Distribute evenly on face. After 15 minutes, wash with water at room temperature and apply additional moisturizer.

Step-by-step technology

  • Wash your hands with soap.
  • Remove makeup and cleanse your face with your usual product (tonic, foam, gel, etc.).
  • Wash your face with water and dry your face with a towel.
  • Apply Vaseline to the eye area, lips and eyebrows. This will help protect delicate areas from the effects of the drug.
  • Read the recommendations for using the peeling product and strictly follow the application instructions.
  • Using a brush or cotton swab, apply the composition first to the nose and chin, then to the forehead and cheeks. Make sure that the mixture is evenly distributed.

  • Monitor your skin's reaction; if you feel any discomfort, remove the product immediately.
  • After time has passed, rinse off the product with cool water or a special tonic that neutralizes the effects of acids.
  • Treat your face with a product to restore pH balance.
  • After the product is completely absorbed, apply a moisturizer.

Peeling with amber and gluconic acid

The action of the duo is aimed at moisturizing and smoothing the skin for those who are intolerant to essential oils and fruit acids. Glucone-amber peeling has a gentle effect on skin with vascular “mesh”, as well as on dry and sensitive skin. Penetrating into the stratum corneum, acids accumulate there and nourish the cells from the inside for a long time.

Reviews from many women show that glucone-amber peeling provides invaluable assistance on the eve of important events, when there is a need to act quickly and clearly. Well prepares the skin for sunbathing. And vice versa, it renews the skin after aggressive exposure to ultraviolet radiation.

Indications

Amber peeling can cope with a number of problems. He will help if you need:

  • refresh dull, unhealthy complexion;
  • even out skin texture;
  • make the skin more elastic and less flabby;
  • restore turgor;
  • moisturize the skin;
  • smooth out small wrinkles;
  • lighten age spots;
  • cope with acne and its consequences;
  • remove swelling and redness of the skin.

Amber hair mask

Amber acid is used at home not only to cleanse the face, but also to improve hair health. The treatment is carried out in a course - for a month, each time you wash your hair, use either shampoo or a mask.

Penetrating into the hair follicles, the amber composition promotes accelerated cell division, thereby enhancing hair growth. At the same time, the acid cleanses the sebaceous glands and eliminates dandruff. The strands stop getting greasy quickly, do not get tangled and are easier to comb.

  1. Add 2 crushed tablets to a single serving of shampoo. The ingredients are thoroughly mixed. Apply to the roots using massaging movements. The composition is kept for 20 minutes, then washed off.
  2. An effective nourishing hair mask is made from one yolk, two powdered succinic acid tablets, a teaspoon of honey and olive oil. The components are turned into a homogeneous mass and slightly heated in a water bath. The product is distributed over the scalp and left for 1 hour. To achieve the best results, it is recommended to create a greenhouse effect. Hiding your hair under a shower cap, wrap your head with a terry towel.

At first, the procedure is carried out 2 times a week for two months. Subsequently, you can limit yourself to a session - once a month.

What problems can be solved

The use of succinic acid at home will bring the desired result only with constant use.

  1. It affects all layers of the skin, restores and regulates vital processes not only in active cells, but also in those that have already lost activity. Thus, under the influence of amber, the cellular composition is rejuvenated, wrinkles are smoothed out, and the skin becomes elastic. Treated surfaces are less susceptible to the aging process.
  2. This procedure helps to get rid of dermatological problems, remove the effects of acne, “drown out” the source of irritation, and normalize metabolism.
  3. Amber-based compositions relieve puffiness, age spots, and stretch marks. Thus, the skin color becomes more even and acquires clear contours.
  4. Peeling with succinic acid at home has an effect on the prevention of colds and strengthens the immune system.
  5. Helps eliminate toxins and radioactive substances.
  6. It has a beneficial effect on the strength of vascular walls and improves blood circulation.

Long-term “collaboration” with succinic acid is suitable for all skin types and different age groups. This is not only regular skin care, but also an effective technique for preventing many dermatological problems and diseases.

Action

Succinic acid even acts differently than most other active substances. Scientists call it “smart” because it can recognize healthy tissues and damaged ones. Localized around the latter, it exerts its regenerating effect on them. Moreover, the surrounding cells, with which there are no problems, remain completely untouched. This property is used by cosmetologists. Penetrating into the layers of the epidermis, succinates themselves find a “sore spot” and begin to “treat” it, be it pigment spots or foci of inflammation.

Succinic acid has a wide range of therapeutic and cosmetological effects:

  • neutralizes and removes toxic metabolites and other harmful agents from the body;
  • ensures the delivery of oxygen to cells - that’s why after its use, facial skin becomes so radiant and healthy;
  • has general strengthening properties;
  • relieves allergy symptoms;
  • Providing an antioxidant effect, it prevents the growth of cancer cells;
  • capable of a rejuvenating redermalization effect, especially in tandem with mumiyo or hyaluronic acid, which is why it is so often used against wrinkles and any other signs of aging;
  • resolves scars and scars (if they formed not so long ago);
  • removes rashes, stops the spread of the inflammatory reaction and infections, which makes it possible to use it for acne;
  • increase resistance to adverse environmental conditions;
  • reduces swelling;
  • enhances the effect of other beneficial substances;
  • provides complete facial care (suitable for regular use);
  • accelerates cellular metabolism;
  • cleanses pores well, eliminating blackheads.

All these properties of succinates turn into a completely new life for the skin of the face - without rashes, wrinkles, age spots and scars, which not every cosmetic can cope with. So this substance is an excellent alternative to numerous salon procedures for rejuvenating and smoothing the skin.
